Kuyamis Festival Kicks Off
The Provincial Government officially opened this year's Kuyamis Festival and the 87th anniversary of Misamis Oriental at the capitol grounds on Monday, January 9.
The celebration kicked off with 16 candidates of Miss Kuyamis 2017 staging their respective festival attire after the Holy Mass. Hundreds of spectators were entertained and amused of the candidates' festive costumes.
Elizabeth Amahan, El Salvador City's bet, wowed the judges and won the award as Best in Festival costume.
