Napunta ako sa bayan ng San Agustin, sa Isabela. Mga limang oras ang naging biyahe mula sa Nueva Ecija na aking pinanggalingan. Sa tingin ko, sulit naman ang aking naging biyahe at pamamalagi ng apat na araw sa San Agustin na kasama ang mga eksperto sa hayop mula sa Nueva Ecija at Cagayan kahit na nga isang 4th class na bayan ang aking nakita.

World Bank Boosts Local Carabao Cross Breeding
The World Bank's (WB) commitment to provide technical assistance through a newly developed feed component is energizing this town's crossbreeding of carabaos and boosting its dairy industry.
Local officials said the project is being done in collaboration with the Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) with the assistance of the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) and the Department of Agriculture (DA).

I just came back from a trip to Isabela where I attended the 2nd Nuang Festival in the town of San Agustin upon the invitation of my SSEAYP batchmate Vice-Mayor Jules Lamug, whom I heard is currently the youngest vice-mayor in the country. San Agustin is the southernmost town of Isabela. But to get to it, you have to pass by Santiago City and the towns of Echague and Jones.
