Balon Falls in one of the two waterfalls in Subic town in Zambales. It was the shortest trek we've ever had so if you are looking for a nature trip that requires a short walk, this is the right one. It is located in Barangay Aningway Sacatihan, approximately twenty five minutes away by bus from Olongapo City.

Going to Balon Falls
October 6, 2013: On Sunday, my friend Donna invited me to join her and Candace for a trip to a waterfall in the province of Zambales. Both these ladies are volunteers with the US Peace Corps and today was their day off. The weather was good for a change after all the rain of Typhoon Odette (see older post).
