The Ilongots, or Ibilao are a tribe who inhabit the southern Sierra Madre (Philippines) and Caraballo Mountains, on the east side of Luzon Island in the Philippines, primarily in the provinces of Nueva Vizcaya and Nueva Ecija and along the mountain border between the provinces of Quirino and Aurora.

Well-paved roads in the upland villages of Nueva Vizcaya made the trip of the Provincial Tourism Office (PTO) team to barangays Pelaway in Alfonso Castaneda town and New Gumiad in Dupax del Norte town easier.

Ammungan Showcases Vizcayas History Culture
Ammungan Festival, the grand annual founding anniversary celebration of this province, will wrap up today its week-long celebration focusing on the rich history and culture of its native sons.

The 2018 "Ammungan" (Gathering) Festival will focus on the rich history and culture of Nueva Vizcaya, provincial officials said Thursday.
