Where The Pygmy Seahorse And Wonderpus Play
My fascination for sea creatures started when I was young. I saw my first bow-riding dolphin somewhere in the Visayas Sea, when my family would travel between provinces by ferry to visit relatives.
In my ancestral hometown of Bohol, I learned why jellyfish should be avoided while snorkeling in a nearby wharf or pantalan.
I spotted my first pipe horse nestled within the pier's rocky walls.
But it was not until 15 years later, in Anilao, where I would begin my love affair with the ocean. I took up scuba diving lessons.

Cahambing said the coral plantation is 5,000 square meters (0.5 has) and consists of 1,250 coral cuttings planted at two-meter intervals, at depths between 15 to 20 meters ... -
Marine Conservation Philippines
Marine Conservation Philippines is a non-profit organisation based in the Visayas region of the Philippines. Through marine research, campaigning, local outreach and conservation efforts we have joined the fight to try and change the current situation before it is too late. We dream of a future and of a sea where our kids and their kids can still marvel at grazing sea-turtles and sharks and where coastal communities enjoy adequate fish-stocks for the next generations.
