Guizo Cave

Guizo Cave is located in Bulabog Putian National Park, Dingle, Iloilo. The park covers an area of 854.33 hectares along a 40 kilometers trail in this rainforest.

The Bulabog Putian National Park
Last week, this August Body took action on the letter of Gov. Arthur D. Defensor Sr. to investigate a reported illegal logging in the Bulabog Putian National Park in the towns of Dingle and San Enrique. The Sangguniang Panlalawigan has converted itself to a Committee of the Whole to conduct the investigation.

Western Visayas caves get protection from DENR
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources have taken steps to protect caves in Western Visayas from further vandalism and illegal excavations that have all but destroyed the natural formations.
Damaso Fuentes, chief of the Protected Areas and Wildlife Division of the DENR in Western Visayas, said many of the caves in the region have been vandalized and damaged by illegal excavations of tourists and treasure hunters.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Western Visayas has stepped up efforts to protect and preserve caves in the region amid illegal excavations and unregulated access to the caves.
