Mt. Timarid and Mt. Simagaysay are the mountains located in Brgy. Manalpac, Solsona, Ilocos Norte. This is the exit point of Mt. Sicapoo Expedition if you will do a traverse that called a rosary trail. Also served as alternative path if the Gasgas river is impassable to cross during raining season.

Mount Sicapoo is a hiking destination in the province of Ilocos Norte with a towering height of up to 2,356 Meters Above Sea Level. It is known as one of the most difficult mountains to climb in Luzon.
The word "Sicapoo" came from "Suk-o-napoo" it is described ??" "I quit" in the Filipino Mountaineer language lol (just kidding!)

After joining the first exploration in Solsona, Ilocos Norte June 2009 with the ONE Degree Mountaineering Group, which led to the first traverse of Mts. Simagaysay and Timarid, I was thrilled to be back in Ilocos Norte, this time to finally climb the most fabulous prize of all, Mt.
