Our underwater world is under tremendous pressure ??" too much garbage and litter, especially plastic is being thrown in, and too many fish are being fished out. World-wide too little is being done to protect our vital seas. Our hope and vision is that by being aware of the plight of the aquatic realm, we can change the current situation before it is too late.

The melting of the polar ice caps, frequent and stronger typhoons, the thinning of the ozone layer--these are just some of the telltale signs of Global warming. It is no longer a myth or a conspiracy theory, that?s why more and more individuals are doing their fair share in helping stem the tide. Speaking of tides, here are some organizations dedicated to save Nemo, Dory, and other sea critters.

This means that the Philippines are home to more coastal reefs than anywhere else in the world, making it ...

Philippines Post Number 2
We've been in the Philippines, in one place, for 8 weeks. We've both been working hard every day as volunteers at Marine Conservation Philippines. My volunteer placement at MCP ended 2 weeks ago and John had another 2 weeks left of his own placement so we're only just about to move on once again. It'll be strange to leave this place that has become a home from home for us. MCP has such a tight knit community of volunteers and we've lived, eaten, worked and played together on a daily basis. Today nearly half of the current cohort of volunteers will be leaving and a new batch will arrive. I'm ex ...
