ABCD Beach is located in Guiuan, Eastern Samar on Calicoan Island. ABCD Beach is named after the four reef breaks along this coast, and also after 'Advance Base Construction Depot', which is one for the WWII buffs. It has great left- and right-handed reef breaks between June and October.

Guian Come For The History And Surfing
An hour's drive away from Borongan, Guiuan is located on the southernmost point of Samar Island. Surrounding the province are several islands that form part of a marine reserve called the Guiuan Protected Landscape and Seascape, and these include Manicani, Calicoan, Candulo, Homonhon, Suluan, Sulangan and Tubabao.

My interest in visiting the southernmost tip of Samar Island came about when I first saw an article saying that it is home to a great surfing spot as it faces the Pacific. I became more eager to set foot in this town when I have learned that it is the hardest hit during the Yolanda catastrophe. I wanted to know how the people are and how much damage was caused. San Pedro And San Pablo Showcased In First Eco-tourism Conference
The virgin islands off the coast of Hinunangan is creating quite a buzz these days as the isles will be showcased in the 1st Eco- Tourism Exhibit at Robinson Place together with other Eastern Visayas tourism spots.
The two islands known as San Pedro and San Pablo Island boast abundant sea life and untouched secluded beaches.
