Kalivungan Festival The Empire Province Strikes Back
The rich tri-people culture, adventure, and nature of Cotabato Province come together as it celebrates the Kalivungan Festival from August 26 to September 1 to mark its Centennial Founding Anniversary.
Its name coined from the indigenous Manobo word which means "gathering," the festival showcases the province's diverse ethnicities, political historicies, agro-industrial economy, and natural heritage.

North Cotabato to open Fort Pikit as tourism destination
The provincial government of North Cotabato will open historical Fort Pikit in Pikit town on Tuesday (January 8) as a new tourism destination.
The event, which will be attended by officials from the Department of Tourism and the Spanish government, is part of the province's effort to earn more revenues from tourism and showcase the improvement in the local peace and order condition.
