P'yagsawitan Festival in the municipality of Maragusan, Compostela is a festival which involves ethnic dancing, harvest thanksgiving rituals for good harvest, and a cultural presentation by Mansaka. People from each hometowns also showcases their ecotourisms potential. It is celebrated annually every November 18.

Apart from its sprawling gold mines, Compostela Valley in Davao Region now houses a promising island resort where abundant tropical living is highlighted.
Developed by the Torre Lorenzo Development Corporation (TLDC), Kopiat Island is a nesting site of the Greenback and Hawksbill turtle species. This 87-hectare island is part of the 6,106-hectare Mabini Protected Landscape.

ComVals Tribal Hall And Museum Opens In Capital Town
The Tribal Hall and Museum featuring the culture and traditions of six Indigenous Peoples (IPs) groups in Compostela Valley province is now open to the public.
The tribal hall will become the venue of primary activities and gathering of IP leaders and members in the province while the museum will house important artifacts, crafts and other creations signifying the distinct identities of each of the IP groups in the province.
The six main tribal groups in Compostela Valley include the Mandaya, Mansaka, Dibabawon, Mangguwangan, Manobo and Kagan.
