Cavite Land Of Shrines And Monuments Controversial, History And Reflected Glory
As much as Cavitenos are inordinately proud of their role in the Philippine Revolution, theyre also often reviled, and probably misunderstood, for the execution of Katipunan founder Andres Bonifacio by men of General Emilio Aguinaldo.
Revisiting the province recently, we found an interactive map in a museum showing that not even a majority of Cavitenos at that time were supporters of the pro-Aguinaldo Katipunan faction Magdalo. In fact, larger areas of the province were sympathizers of the pro-Bonifacio faction Magdiwang.
Apparently the downfall of Bonifacio was the Machiavellian machina ... -
Kaynipa Cove Awaits To Be Discovered
Caylabne, Puerto Azul and Boracay de Cavite. These are just some of the beautiful beaches that can be found in the town of Ternate. But yet, there is one small cove that is just waiting to be discovered: the Kaynipa Cove. Among its features are its breathtaking view, fine white sands and gentle waves. But what sets this beach apart from the other beaches is its affordability as well as its (currently) being secluded.
The beach is actually not part of our itinerary, because we originally intend to go to El Fraile (Fort Drum). But the unrelenting weather did not allow us to go and reach the h ... -

At the junction there is a small marker leading to th ... -
Mt Nagpatong Mountaineering Adventure
Located in Maragondon in the province of Cavite, Mt. Nagpatong is one of the more than 20 peaks of the mountain range in Maragondon. It got its name from the large rock that once rested on top of a smaller rock on its peak.
