Kaybiang Tunnel is 300-meter tunnel part of the new 6-kilometer Tourism Road in Cavite that cuts travel time from Manila to Nasugbu and Calatagan, Batangas from the usual 4 hours via Tagaytay to just a little over 1 hour.
The tourism road project was conceptualized in 1994 during the Fidel Ramos administration but had so much delays due to issues like rights of way. Almost 10 years ...
later, it was completed on July 2013. The artery consists of a new four-kilometer paved road, a 1.4-km concrete road, four new bridges, and the 300-meter Kaybiang Tunnel.
The road offers a very scenic view right after you pass through the tunnel.

In my recent trip to Nasugbu, Batangas, I visited the increasingly popular attraction in Fortune Island. To get there, I took a drive for the first time into the less-taken path of Nasugbu-Ternate highway.
This long twisted route was possible only after the first of July, 2013 when the Kaybiang Tunnel was finally opened. This tunnel, the longest in the country at 300 meters, passes through Mt.
