Located just beside the marvelous peak of San Miguel is another interesting sight, the Sisiman Lighthouse. Well it is not as grand as the other locations we have seen in Mariveles but it is indeed another picture-perfect spot that you definitely should not miss when visiting the humble town of Mariveles in Bataan.
I don't know how tall the lighthouse exactly but as you can see, there are four layers of staircase. It is also interesting to note that this is a fully functional lighthouse to guide all the fishermen and seafarers of the Sisiman bay.

Ten years ago when I first had a chance to visit the town of Mariveles in Bataan. At that time, there was a serious traffic jam due to the highway construction, and we had to go to the alternate route of Baseco Road. Our disappointment due to traffic turned to excitement when we saw the small fishing village of Barangay Sisiman.
