The Rafflesia is known as the world's biggest exotic flower. But don't be misled, though called as a "flower," its smells awful that it is also referred as a "corpse flower."
Rafflesia has a total of 28 species only found in South East Asia. Out of the 28 species, 10 are found in the Philippines!

Binirayan To The Max
The province of Antique celebrated the biggest Binirayan Festival in its 32 years of existence with month-long festivities all throughout April.
Thousands of Antiqueños flocked the plaza to witness the various activities of the festival, especially the impressive performance of tribes in the Malay-ati contest. The competition is Antiques version of the Mardi Gras, with street dancing and a P100,000 prize for the winner. This year, the honor went to the Tribu Urukay of the Anini-y town.

Antiques Binirayan Festival Was My Last Visit For 2012
Witnessing the Binirayan Festival of the Province of Antique was my last trip for the year 2012. This is my first time to witness the festival, and just like any other festivals it showcases the Province's history and culture.
