Bud Bongao Bongao Peak In Tawi-Tawi

Tawi-tawi is the southernmost province of the Philippines, and considered a gateway to the country's neighbor, Malaysia. It is located near the Sulu and Basilan, two of the provinces known for on-going conflicts between armed-rebel groups and the Armed Forces of the Philippines. Because of this, a lot of people, especially those living in Luzon, are also afraid to visit Tawi-Tawi, unaware of the peaceful situation in the province.

In my case, I was nothing but excited to have an amazing opportunity to step my foot in this humble province. I looked forward to experience the local culture of ...

Diving Into The Pristine Blue Waters Of Tawi-Tawi

My third visit to Tawi-Tawi further confirmed that it is indeed one of the most pristine and beautiful provinces in the Philippines. Its white sand beaches, turquoise waters, and unique culture truly make this paradise a must-visit on any traveler's bucket list.

Tawi-Tawi has 307 archipelagic islands, most of which are surrounded by fringing reefs. While they remain top-of-mind for the average traveller, there are other beaches in the Philippines' 7,107 islands that have yet to be placed on the international scene. If you're after smaller crowds and untouched nature, and ready for some roughing-it, try goi ...

If you love the beach and at the same time prefer the road less traveled, then here are remote sandbars in the Philippines you must visit at least once. They may be a bit hard to get to, but they are so worth the trip.

Seven of the Most Beautiful Virgin Beaches of the Philippines

I believe I have said it again and again on this travel blog. I am a very big fan of virgin beaches. Forunately enough, I come from the Philippines, a country with more than 7,000 islands, many of which are remote and uninhabited. It's really inevitable that I come up with a list of Seven of the Most Beautiful Virgin Beaches in the Philippines.

The article remains to be one of the most popular posts on this travel blog. So I thought I create a follow-up. Since I am out of the country at the moment, I have asked my fellow Pinoy travel bloggers to tell me about the virgin beaches in the Phili ...
