Turtle Island Marine Sanctuary is located in the municipality of Barobo, Surigao Del Sur, about 30-minute ride by pump boat from Barobo. An 8 hectare white sand beach whose multi-colored coral reef adds to the attraction.
There is also a very long sand bar out front called Vanishing Island, only appearing at low tide. Cabgan Island is just across the channel to the west.
