Helobung Festival is a town feast that features the culture and livelihood of T'boli tribes and B'laan tribes in Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. The province is locally known for its native festivals that highlight more of the T'boli tradition through different tribal activities such as horse fighting, and cultural dances.     The town of Lake Sebu in South Cotabato province celebrates its culture and people, including the Tboli ethnic group, which traces its roots in the province. Among the towns featured products are Tnalak, the traditional abaca cloth woven by the T?boli.     The T'Boli tribe takes pride in its culture and traditions at the Helobung Festival.

    Lake Sebu in South Cotabato Province is regarded as a miraculous body of water by the highland tribe of T'boli. Surrounded by lush forests, it is also home to seven beautiful waterfalls.

    It is believed that Lake Sebu's waters never run dry while continuously giving bountiful harvest of tilapia fish.

    Tboli Celebrate Helobung Festival

    Lake Sebu, the heartland of the colourful Tboli tribe in South Cotabato, Mindanao, Philipiines was a hive of exciting activities as the local residents celebrated the week-long annual Helobung Festival from Nov. 6-11,2014.
