Tikling beach is found in Calintaan Island in Matnog. It is a small island similar to Subic Beach. It has clear blue waters and it also immediately becomes deeper beyond a few metres from the shoreline.
Tikling's beach boasts of creamy white sand peppered with crushed red coral particles, giving a pinkish color when viewed from a distance.

Truth be told, I wasn't very excited when this trip was announced by Alon ng Pag-asa. (If you remember from last time, Alon is the outreach group formed from our last excursion to Jomalig in Quezon Province.) For some reason it's not included among the commonly discussed travel spots in the country. I frequently hear about Boracay, Cebu, Davao, Siquijor, Batanes and Palawan, Palawan, Palawan. Sorsogon?
