The Municipality of Matnog lies along the coastal area of the Southern Luzon. This is the last municipality and has one of the busiest port because it is the jump off point towards Northern Samar. A third class municipality composed of different indigenous tribes such as Agta, Tabangon and Cimaron.
A 10 hour ride from manila, and a 30 minute ride from matnog sorsogon is a hidden paradise of tikling island and powdery pinkish white sand of subic beach.

Calintaan is located in the town of Matnog, Sorsogon, in the Bicol Region. The island is famous for its semi-pink sand beach called Subic Beach. The sand in Subic Beach is a mixture of white sand and crushed red pipe corals.
The island is now starting to become a tourist destination in the Bicol Region. There's also an existing community in the island.
Calintaan has its own source of fresh water. There's also an electricity in the island. The electricity source comes from a long power line connected to the mainland Luzon.
