You won't find much crowds gathered in this quiet corner of Sarangani. Instead, this quiet and peaceful beach is the site of Maitum's Pawikan Nesting Sanctuary and home to some endangered species of marine turtles. Visitors can come during early morning or late afternoon to help release baby turtles into the wild, hoping that they'll survive into adulthood and one day return to continue the cycle.
