    The Island of Cobrador in Romblon secured round-the-clock electricity supply for the first time yesterday, as the solar-diesel hybrid power generation system backed by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) started operating.

    In a statement issued yesterday, the Manila-based multilateral lender announced the inauguration of the hybrid power generation system, which was rolled out under its Energy for All initiative in partnership with the Korea Energy Agency, the National Electrification Administration and the Romblon Electric Cooperative.
