Still dreaming of this magical place. Someone take me backkkkkk!
After a whole day of exploring Puerto Princesa, it was finally time to head to El Nido. Six hours later we found ourselves at El Nido Bus Terminal. It was still dawn when we arrived, specifically around 1am. It was kinda part of the plan since we were not planning to book any rooms that night. At first we thought maybe we could just stay at the terminal for the entire night but after an hour we went to Tay Miloy's Inn to drop our bags (where we plan to stay the following night) and had very early breakfast because everyone was ...

I've mentioned how beautiful Coron is, in ...

El Nido has long been associated with the islands at Bacuit Bay including hidden lagoons, white sand beaches and magnificent karst landscape. The town itself, located on the main island of Palawan, used to serve only as a launching pad for tours to these islands as well as overnight accommodations for visitors. However, in recent years, previously hard-to-access beaches further inland or near El Nido proper have now been getting a share of the spotlight.
The Twin Beaches of Nacpan and Calitang
Situated in Sitio Calitang about 20 kilometers north of El Nido town proper, the Twin Beaches o ...
We were slowly realizing it as we got closer to it. Some said it looks like a whale while others have their guesses. But for me, it looked like a helicopter without a propeller, I knew it because the boatmen told me it's called Helicopter Island. Haha!
But this is officially called Dimalucad island, and maybe because of its shape and being popular with foreign tourists, this is also called as Helicopter.
Once we got off the boat and experienced the island for the first time, first thing that crossed my mind was, so all islands in El Nido are like this? I don't have to mention it through ...
