    Moto Enduro Park Seen To Boost Tourism

    The Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental expects a boost in the province's tourism industry as it welcomes the opening of the first ever Enduro park in the country located in Barangay Bagocboc, Opol town, Misamis Oriental last Saturday, March 25.

    With the new park, Governor Yevgeny Vincente 'Bambi' Emano said Misamis Oriental would not only be known for its famous beaches and falls, but also as a "Moto-tourism" destination.

    The 20-million Enduro park is inside a 26 hectare land, owned by motosports enthusiast and chief executive officer of Norminring Bikes Juan Andre Lacson.

    Military Transforms Container Van Into Computer Lab For Lumad Kids

    A 40-foot container van has been transformed by the military into a mobile computer laboratory.

    The van, loaded with 21 sets of computers installed with educational software, will soon visit hinterland areas within the 4th Infantry Division's area of operations to educate members of the indigenous community.

    Major General Benjamin Madrigal said the computer laboratory is a big help for Lumad children who do not have enough opportunities in school.
