Tucked in between Barangay Purakan of the town of Linamon and Barangay Ditucalan of Iligan City is Tinago Falls, Lanao del Norte?s prime icon. Geographically speaking, it is still within the vicinity of Iligan City, home to at least twenty-four waterfalls making the moniker ?City of Majestic Waterfalls? very fitting.

Journey to Hindang Falls
This has been our third destination on that day from Dodiongan Falls then to Hindang Cave. Our journey from the jump off to the cave going to Hindang Falls was as smooth as riding a sports car. The motorcycle taxis were so amazing and the drivers were like professionals (is there such a thing? lol). Every hump and every rock in the rough road were no matches on their motorcycles. I don't know what model it was but it's like for motor cross. I asked our driver while on our way if they play motor cross. He replied "No" but they play motor trail instead.

While writing this, I couldn't help but mumble TLC's signature song, "Waterfalls", remembering how we traveled from Cebu via Ozamis to Iligan City to catch a glimpse of this awe inspiring falls named Tinago ??" Tagalog word which means "hidden", the falls being hidden in a deep ravine. This is actually a side trip for a major climbing traverse in Bukidnon and I'm glad to have visited this place.
