    Rice terraces farmers here are hoping to be dubbed world-class.

    Governor Jocel Baac during the regional development meeting Monday is batting for the inclusion of the province's rice terraces in the Cordillera Rice Terraces Commission.

    Baac said through a presentation during the RDC meeting that there are rice terraces that are worthy of fame in the province scattered in Lubuagan, Balbalan, Tinglayan, Pasil and Tanudan municipalities.

    In Tinglayan, terraces from the Sungang View Point include the Dananao and Tulgao terraces, likened to an amphitheater along the whole mountain slopes.
