The Burgos or Fr. Burgos Museum in Vigan, Ilocos Sur is the ancestral house of the martyr-priest Padre Jose Burgos. The house was built in 1788 and owned by his grandparents Don Juan Gonzales and Doña Florentina Gascon. Despite the limited funds of the city, the museum has maintained its 19th century interior and its well-preserved kitchen.

Our call time was at 6 AM. We had our breakfast first before we checked out, then Kuya Romy picked the rest of the group up at their hotel. Ilocos Sur is a 4-hour drive from Ilocos Norte. Since I was having a slight headache due to a hangover from last night's and probably the lack of sleep, I was sleeping the entire time of the trip. Reaching its highest influx of tourists in the past five years, four museums across Ilocos Norte are opening this November 11 to 14, 2015 to strengthen its 'Paoay Kumakaway!' tourism campaign.
Opening this month are the Paoay Convent Ruins on November 12; Balay Dingras on November 13 and; Taoid Museum at Laoag City and the newly restored Burgos Lighthouse Museum on November 14.
