On Day 2 of our trip and before leaving Ilocos Norte, we went to the town of Burgos to see the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation. It was said to have been formed thousands of years ago through the process of sedimentation. Unfortunately, we only saw it from a distance because they don't allow people to go near the sedimentary rock anymore to avoid damage caused by reckless visitors (though I have seen some recent photos of people lying on the rock). One Vigan's iconic tower. Bantay bell tower used to be a watchtower before being turned by a bell tower of the church nearby. And since then, it became a tourist spots not to locals but also who visits Vigan.
After our fulfilling lunch in Hidden Garden (Check : Hidden Garden : Lilong and Lilang Restaurant), we headed next to our last destination in Ilocos before going back to Cavite. It was actually not part of our plan as the elder members of our group are already tired and they just want to go home but thanks God, someone from the other group insisted to visit the famous Bantay Tower!
