    December 2017 - Second part of just the first day! We visited Chavit's expansive zoo special for being able to walk with animals like the ostrich, alpacas, and several ponies. The zoo also boasts zebras, many types of deer and the king of all cats, the tiger.     On Day 2 of our trip and before leaving Ilocos Norte, we went to the town of Burgos to see the Kapurpurawan Rock Formation. It was said to have been formed thousands of years ago through the process of sedimentation. Unfortunately, we only saw it from a distance because they don't allow people to go near the sedimentary rock anymore to avoid damage caused by reckless visitors (though I have seen some recent photos of people lying on the rock).
