Months ago, I saw my grammer friend Jack Ponpon post photos of this rather unmapped but exquisite island in the northern part of Cebu. Since then, Ive been meaning to see it first-hand but I just didnt get the time to do so because of other blogging commitments and travel line ups. So when I had the opportunity to shoot for a pre-wedding session in Cebu (Uhhhmm yes guys! I accept prenup and couple shoots now. Book na! Hahaha! #ShamelessPlug #FailAdPlacement), I knew that it was the perfect time to explore the undiscovered paradise called, Carnaza Island.
You may have seen videos and pictures of this island being shared a number of times on social media accounts. You saw how beautiful the beaches here are, how pristine the place? how secluded this island is. And you may have also noted what a perfect getaway for tropical destination this island is, etc., etc., etc. And then you may have read blogs about it and you may now have the idea how to get there, etc., etc., etc.

I can genuinely sense the heavy slap on my face whenever my friends ask about the Northernmost tip Islands of Cebu since I always render them a blank face. They have seen me exploring almost more than half of the Province in the Philippines and that includes the Northern portion of Luzon and Southern Part of Mindanao. I truly don't know why I haven't explored our very own stunning Islands in the Northernmost tip of Cebu. Perhaps because at the back of my mind, this would be easy to reach for I'm just in Cebu and anytime, I could get there and explore them. But only recently, after 4 years sinc ...

As a matter of fact, I've seen some folks label Boracay's party-laden beach as idyllic. But, make no mistake about it ??" there are some places that truly epitomize and exude the "idyllic" feel of a tropical paradise. And one of them is Daanbantayan's remote and gorgeous gem ??" Carnaza Island.
