Camiguin is an island province located in the Philippines. It is lanzones capital of the Philippines.

Major Tourist Destination:

White Island (locally known as Medano Islet or Medan Island) lies just 1.4 km, about 10 minutes, off the coast of Mambajao, the capital and the largest municipality of Camiguin. It is the province's most popular tourist attraction. Powdery white sand make up this glittery bend, surrounded by sea grass. Although it usually resembles a boomerang, it changes shape according to the tides. A naked island, it is uninhabited no houses, no huts, no trees - but umbrellas are available for rent.

Sunken Cemetery - In the 1870s, a volcano near this place erupted and caused the cemetery along with the capital city surrounding it to sink below sea level. In order to commemorate this place of loss, a looming cross was built in remembrance. Visitors all over the Philippines and the world come to admire this man-made marvel filled with legend and enchantment.

By Air
- Take a flight to Cagayan de Oro city from from Manila, Ilo-ilo or Cebu.

- From CDO, take a bus from Agora Bus Terminal going to Balingoan. Then take a barge or ferry to Camiguin island.

By Sea
- Take passenger ferries to Cagayan de Oro city from from Manila, Ilo-ilo or Cebu.

- From CDO, take a bus from Agora Bus Terminal going to Balingoan. Then take a barge or ferry to Camiguin island.

GETTING AROUND

- Ask your hotel/hostel for information about renting motorcycles. - Expect an informal process. Usually 300-500pesos/day. There are several gas stations around the island, along the main road. Take a jeepney around the island. A jeepney within Mambahao, from your hotel to town, costs 8-10P.

- RENT multicab to tour around the island. The mulitcab from Mambajao town to Benoni Pier costs 25P

Bukidnon is also labelled as the highland paradise in the heart of Mindanao. While it derived its name from the Visayan term "bukid" for "mountain", it is predominantly a rolling grassland plateau with an average elevation of 915 meters. The rolling uplands, deep canyons and valleys alternating with the low plains create a refreshing vista for dwellers and travellers alike.
