    During month of January, people of Bustos Bulacan are celebrating "Minasa Festival". Minasa Festival is showcasing the town's delicious delicacies Minasa Cookies and the mouth watering Barquillos. This event shows their culture and their tradition through this Minasa Festival. This celebration continues for a week. You can find a lot of food stall and bazaar which sell different merchandise like clothes, accessories, toys and a lot more.

  • 2nd Minasa Festival Tampok Ang Magagandang Imahe Ng Bustos

    Tatampukan ng mga naggagandahang imahe ang ikalawang sunod na taon ng pagsasagawa ng Minasa Festival sa Enero 15 hanggang 22 na bahagi ng ika-95 taong pagkakatatag ng bayang ito.

    Ito ay dahil sa pagsasagawa ng paligsahan tulad ng digital photo competition, video ad contest, poster making contest at oldest photo contest.

    Sasangkapan din ng trade fair, talent contest, sayawan sa kalye, konsiyerto at jobs fair ang nasabing pagdiriwang.

    Minasa is the name of the locally produced version of the ubiquitous uraro cookies, but this one is marked by a more toasted less sugary but tasteful flavor that sets it apart from the usual uraro fare, and which endears it to locals and visitors alike.

    The Tagalog word "Minasa" is the past tense of the root word "Masa" which means to knead and or mix together in a rolling and pressing manner, as in rolling dough. "Masa" is also the Tagalog word for the masses or general human population.

  • Minasa Festival Isang Linggong Pagdiriwang Sinimulan

    Isang linggong pagdiriwang ang isasagawa sa bayang ito bilang pagbibigay halaga sa tinapay na karaniwang inihahanda ng mayayaman mula noong kalagitnaan ng 1800.

    Ito ay tinawag na Minasa Festival 2011 na sinimulan sa pamamagitan ng isang audio-video presentation noong Sabado, Enero 15 at matatapos sa Enero 22.

  • Book On Bustos History Launched At Minasa Festival

    The local government of Bustos, headed by Mayor Arnel Mendoza, launched a book on Bustos local history on January 12 on the event of the Minasa Festival.

    Professor Jaime Veneracion and Mr. Dennis Galvez wrote the publication to supplement the teaching of local history as encouraged by the K-12 program of the Department of Education and the implementation of the Proud Bustosenyo curriculum ordinance in the municipality.
