    Bigger Cake Eyed For Next Strawberry Fest

    La Trinidad is gearing up for a bigger and better presentation of the strawberry shortcake in a bid to beat its previous record in the Guinness World of Records.

    Tourism officer Valred Olsim said the municipality is pressed to introduce several changes in the festival hoping to lure more tourists in the town.

    Aside from the trying to beat the current Guinness record they currently hold, innovations being eyed in next year's festival include the holding of the longest strawberry cupcakes, jams, or any by-product of strawberry.

    I've been wanting to visit this place since the news came out. I have a fascination with anything colorful so this is definitely a good sight!

    I've been to Benguet almost every month but I haven't had a chance to visit this so I said to my self, the next time I'm having a hike in Benguet my sidetrip for myself is this mural.

    This project is a first in the country and is designed by the Tam-Awan village artists, the project was adapted from favela paintings in Brazil.

    Baguio is famous for its cool weather and fresh produce. From Vigan, we travelled to the Strawberry Farm in Baguio where some of the produce you see in the city's market come from.

    Although it is called the Strawberry Farm, other vegetables and even flowers are grown here. When we came to visit, there were also a lot of other visitors snapping pictures at every turn.
