Mt Pulag Where Were You While We Were Getting High

Mt. Pulag- dubbed as the 3rd highest mountain in the Philippines and Luzon's highest peak is one of the most visited mountain in the country. For the record, hiking Mt. Pulag was not on my bucket list even though a lot of my friends were pushing me to go there to witness the "SEA of CLOUDS". I asked myself, "Am I brave enough to conquer Mt. Pulag?" According to my friends who went there, the temperature can even go down to negative degrees. I admit I am quiet frail to low temperatures and I was afraid I wouldn't survive the hike.

Even though I have so many fears and doubts in life, I still ...

Ultimate Preparation Guide For Mount Pulag Read Before You Climb

Last May 29-30, 2015, my cousins decided to climb Mount Pulag. A week before the actual climb, my cousin and their significant other had to back out due to work. My little sister and I were invited to take their slots as they were already paid for. My little sister climbed last January 30, 2015 and they did not reach the summit. I took the slot only a week before the actual climb. I wish I ha ...

Pulag's peak is unfathomable. It's breath-taking, heart-stopping, freakin' amazing. Arriving at Mt. Pulag's summ ...

The Road To Mt Pulag A Pre-Climb Adventure

Mount Pulag, the highest mountain in Luzon, easily rivals Sagada as my favorite local destination (and you know how precious Sagada is for me) in terms of the view, the experience, and the people I was with on the trip. Even before reaching the summit, I had a pretty good time with the crew. The road to Pulag is an adventure on its own.

A couple of months ago, my Team Tadhana friends and I started talking about climbing Mt. Pulag. At the time, I'd always say I want to go but needed more physical preparation. After all, this is Philippine's second (or third? My sources can't seem to agree on ...
