Mountain-biking enthusiasts can test their trail-riding skills when the "ArtVenture: Bike Trails at Batulao Artscapes" kicks off next month at Batulao Artscapes Complex in Nasugbu, Batangas.
Organized by the Century Properties Group, the 7-kilometer bike challenge circuit is set for May 5 and 12.

Mt. Batulao is one of the famous hiking destinations in Batangas for those people searching for challenges and outdoor adventures. This mountain is another gem and pride of Southern Luzon which is 2-3 hours travel from the Manila, very accessible to both private and public vehicles. Batulao is famous because of the breathtaking view of its ranges and slopes. Its surface has an amazing shape covered with luscious and relaxing greens. Since it's just a few kilometeres away from Tagaytay, which is the usual side trip, its ambiance is really cool.

If your staying in the Manila area in the Philippines and want to take a break from the busy city try hiking Mt. Batulao in Nasugbu, Batangas. It's pretty easy to get to, take a bus to Nasugbu ? Lemery and tell the driver your going to Mt. Batulao. Exit the bus when you get to Evercrest Golf Course in Lemery, Batangas. Travel time is roughly 2 to 3 hours depending on the traffic. After joining the Zero Visibility event last year and reaching his first summit (Pico de Loro), visually-impaired teenager Jerald Polintan accomplished another milestone in October 2017 as he scaled his second summit, Mt. Batulao. Accompanied by his supportive family members, together with Pinoy Mountaineer Gideon Lasco, Daryl Comagon (who also joined last years event), Cynthia Sy, Wey dela Pena, and Samar-based caving expert Joni Bonfacio, the 15-year old managed to reach Batulao in less than 3 hours, reaching the 811-m peak via the New Trail.
